Who is responsible

Everyday Calculators operates Everyday Calculators and is the data controller for the limited processing described below. Contact: hello@everydaycalculators.app.

What you type

Every calculation happens locally in your browser. The amounts, rates and salaries you enter are never sent to a server, never written to a database and disappear when you close the tab.

Accounts, adverts and tracking

There are no accounts, no sign-in, no social pixels and no third-party analytics. No profiling or automated decision-making takes place. Some pages may include clearly marked partner (affiliate) links; if you choose to use one, the partner may pay us a commission at no cost to you. Clicking a link takes you to the partner's site, which has its own privacy policy.

If display advertising is introduced later, it will only load for visitors who explicitly allow it in the cookie notice, and this page will be updated first. See the cookie policy for the one local-storage entry the site uses.

Server logs

Like any website, the hosting provider processes standard request logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, user agent) to deliver pages and defend against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are short-lived and are not used to profile visitors.

Processors and transfers

Two third parties are involved in delivering the site: the hosting provider that serves the pages, and Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces (your browser's request exposes your IP address to Google). Where data is processed outside the EU/EEA, it relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

Email you send us

If you email us, we keep the message and your address only as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of reported calculation errors.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Because the site stores no personal data about you beyond any email correspondence, most requests are answered simply by confirming that. Write to hello@everydaycalculators.app. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

The site is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this ever changes — for example if optional, privacy-friendly usage statistics are added — this page will be updated before the feature ships, and the date above will change.
