Questions people ask
Is this coin flip actually random?
Yes. It uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator, the same source used for security keys, with the range corrected so neither side is favoured.
Why did I get ten heads in a row?
Streaks are normal. Each flip is independent, so a run of ten heads has a 1-in-1024 chance — which happens often when you flip a lot.
Can I use it to decide something important?
It is as fair as a real coin, so it works for any 50/50 choice. For more than two options, use the random number generator instead.
