Example: 20 °C is 68 °F. A 180 °C oven is 356 °F, and a 38 °C fever is 100.4 °F.
Questions people ask
What is the quick way to estimate Celsius to Fahrenheit?
Double it and add 30. For 20 °C that gives 70 against a true 68 — close enough for deciding what to wear.
At what temperature are Celsius and Fahrenheit the same?
−40. It is the one point where the two scales cross.
Why does Kelvin have no degree sign?
Kelvin is an absolute scale measured from absolute zero, so its values are written as plain numbers: 300 K, not 300 °K.
