How it works

Add the bill, an optional tip and the number of people. The calculator shows the exact share plus a rounded-up version so nobody is left short.

Per person = (Bill + Tip + Extras) ÷ People

Example: A 1,000 bill with 10% tip between four people is 275.00 each.

How do I handle the leftover cents?

Round every share up to the nearest unit and let one person collect the small surplus, or use the rounded figure shown next to the exact split.

What if someone ordered much more?

Put their extra items in the extras field and hand them that amount separately, then split the rest evenly.
