How it works
Pick a start and an end date to see how far apart they are. The weekdays-only line ignores Saturdays and Sundays, which is what you usually want for working days.
Example: From 1 September to 1 October is 30 days — 22 of them weekdays.
Questions people ask
Is the end date included?
No. The count is the number of nights between the two dates, so 1 to 2 September is one day. Add one if you need to count both dates.
Does the weekday count exclude public holidays?
It excludes Saturdays and Sundays only. Public holidays vary by country, so subtract those yourself for an exact working-day figure.
Can I go backwards in time?
Yes. If the end date is earlier than the start date the calculator shows the gap as a positive number of days.
